CSC - Computer Sciences Corporation said it found “significant errors” in its accounting for tax liabilities in fiscal years 2000 through 2006, and has delayed filing its 2007 annual report on Form 10-K.

WLP - The firm’s Chief Financial Officer David Colby was forced out at the health insurer for non-corporate violation of the company’s code of conduct.

AGE - Wachovia said it will buy the financial services company for $6.8 billion in cash and stock, creating the second-largest U.S. retail brokerage.

CIEN - The telecommunications-equipment specialist continued its resurgence in its fiscal second quarter, reporting another profit and lifting its sales forecast.
