Shares of Gemstar are very active in after-hours after company said today that its board authorized the company to look into ways to maximize shareholder value, including possibly selling the company. Shares rose more than 14% in the extended trading. Today today session stock reached a new 52 week high at 5.40, so tomorrow will be another great day for Gemstar.
