HBC - HSBC Hldgs reported higher profit for the first half amid higher numbers of bad debts arising from weakness in the U.S. housing market.
LF - Leapfrog Enterprises stock was upgraded by Wedbush Morgan Securities Monday citing its price and near-term outlook.
MNST - Company announced lower-than-expected earnings and said it would cut 800 jobs, or 15% of staff as it restructures.
NSC - Norfolk Southern Corp. was upgraded by JP Morgan.
