HPQ active in after-hours

Shares of Hewlett-Packard were down today more than 2% in the regular session to $49.44, however stock is very active in the extended trading, because company reported just a few minutes ago, a better-than-expected 28% rise in quarterly profit as notebook PC sales increased. In addition, Hewlett-Packard said its board authorized an $8 billion additional share buyback program. At this precise moment stock is trading up more than 2%. Looking at the daily chart, stock is presently trading in a short uptrend with all indicators gaining momentum, however it will be very important for stock and Bulls, see a close above $51 tomorrow, which will mean a continuation of this new trend recently formed. So, keep an eye on HPQ tomorrow morning.
