Virtual 3D game
Tuesday, November 04, 2008
Hello Folks !!! Good news for you again, especially if you love to play games. The Forbidden City is for me a mysterious place! All articles I read about this place said that this is a small world with beautiful temples where the time has stopped. Is a city where I would like to know, but there is a way to know it, through a virtual tour in a 3D environment. I found a game where any user can travel/play and interact with virtual characters and objects. This game is a great opportunity to know this city during the Qing dynasty through the years 1644 until 1912. Check this out! It’s so cool.

I reckon its better to go to the Forbidden City in real life than to play a game about it. At least in real life everything is not so glossy & perfect as it is made up to be in games.

For example, when I went there in Sept 2007, many of the main buildings were covered in scaffolding, under reconstruction to be ready for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Bummer :-P
