MRK - Merck earnings were in line with expectations and it reaffirmed its outlook for 2007.

MO - Altria Group the company's first-quarter earnings fell below year-earlier levels. Even though profits topped expectations on an adjusted level.
SGP - Company reported its first-quarter profit jumped 55 percent. After payment of preferred dividends, Schering-Plough's profit grew to $543 million, or 36 cents per share, from year-ago totals of $350 million, or 24 cents per share.
MRK - Merck earnings were in line with expectations and it reaffirmed its outlook for 2007.
